The Friendship Club: What to Know

About the Program
The Friendship Club is a play-based program for young children that combines open-ended play with teacher-supported learning and themed projects. Led by certified early childhood educators, it focuses on social, emotional, and early academic development through joyful, meaningful experiences.

Age Group
The Friendship Club is ideal for children ages 2.5–5.5 Children should be mobile and ready to explore independently or with light caregiver support.

Schedule
The program runs Monday through Saturday from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Daily Sign-Up
Families must reserve a spot by 8:00 AM on the day of attendance. Sessions are limited to 10 children to ensure a high-quality, personalized experience.

Drop-Off and Caregiver Options
Drop-off is encouraged. Caregivers are welcome to stay if their child is not yet ready to separate. Our teachers gently support transitions and independence over time.

Support for Shy or Hesitant Children
We help children feel safe, welcomed, and gradually confident. Our team supports smooth transitions at each child’s own pace.

How to Join
Reserve a spot by 8:00 AM via our online booking system. You’ll receive confirmation and details on what to bring.

Cancellations
Please cancel by 8:00 AM if you can’t attend. While we don’t offer refunds for missed sessions, we’ll try to provide a makeup when possible.

Siblings Welcome
Siblings can attend the same session. The Family Membership is a great value for multiple children, and we support joint and individual play.

If a session is full, we’ll place you on the waitlist and notify you if a spot becomes available..

Separation Support
We are experts at helping children separate with confidence. If a child isn’t yet ready, caregivers can stay. We use gentle routines and connection to help build trust and independence over time.

No-Show Policy
Please notify us by 8:00 AM if you’ve signed up but can’t attend. Repeated no-shows without notice may result in a $25 fee, as space is limited and in high demand.

Potty Training Requirement
All children must be fully potty trained to attend. This helps ensure a smooth and independent experience for everyone. If your child is still working on this milestone, we’d love to welcome them once they’re ready!

FAQs

  • Yes! Drop-off is encouraged. This is a drop off program but caregivers are welcome to stay until your child ready to separate. Our teachers will gently support transitions and independence to help with separation.

  • Yes. At this time, we require that all children attending The Friendship Club be fully potty trained. Our program is designed for independent explorers, and having this skill allows us to maintain a smooth and supportive group experience for everyone.

    If your child is still working toward potty independence, we’d love to welcome them once they’re ready—and we’re happy to stay in touch in the meantime!

  • We understand that things come up! If you’ve reserved a spot but can no longer attend, please let us know by 8:00 AM so we can offer the space to another family.

    Because our sessions are small and often fill up, repeated no-shows without notice may result in a $25 cancellation fee. We ask that families be considerate of our limited capacity and the needs of other participants.

  • That’s completely okay! Little Learners is the perfect place to work on these skills. Our teachers are skilled in helping children feel safe, welcomed, and gradually comfortable. We’ll work with your family to support smooth transitions and build confidence over time.

  • You can reserve a spot each day by 8:00 AM through our online booking system. Once registered, we’ll send confirmation details.

  • If you need to cancel a reserved session, please do so by 8:00 AM on the day of the program to allow another family to take the spot. We do not offer refunds for missed sessions, but we’ll do our best to accommodate makeups when space allows

  • Yes! We welcome siblings to attend the same session, and our Family Membership option ($450/month) is a great value for families with more than one child. Siblings will be supported in both joint and individual play depending on their ages and needs.

    If your child is not yet ready to separate, caregivers are welcome to stay during the session. We gently guide children toward independent participation, using routines, connection, and encouragement to help them feel safe and secure.

    Fostering this independence is a key part of our program, and we’re proud to be a supportive partner for families as children practice this important milestone at their own pace.
